From the U.S. Staying in Kiev for business for 5 days. I was unsure about this hotel because of the mixed reviews but I can say this was easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms were huge, full facilities with a bedroom, full closet, bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The staff was very helpful booking us taxi's when necessary and we are a cooked breakfast every morning at the restaurant. As my first trip to Eastern Europe I wasn't sure how good the facilities of the hotels...

The hotel, the staff, the atmosphere could not have been better. All of the front desk girls could not have been nicer, or more helpful for me. I do not speak the language but they were ready everyday to help with Taxi and directions. Upon my departure which was very, very early they even set up the taxi at 3:30am and had a box lunch for me. The front desk girl even made me a cup of coffee while I waited for my taxi.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay at Bontiak Hotel. Starting with the room - it was clean, spacious, with really good blackout curtains (for those 4am sunrises), remote-controlled a/c.Super quiet, first time in Europe I didn't need earplugs. The bed was super comfortable with high threadcount sheets and lots of soft pillows. Bathrobe & slippers were a bonus and there was good supply of towels and bathroom amenities. Great value!! Bed was super comfy better than. Many Hyatt or Wyndham! Outside stairwell really rundown and elevator is kind of a gamble will it give out on me? Please one more trip. Or it wouldn’t respond at all. 109 steps to 7th floor apt! But location is excellent ! Across street to modern Gulliver mall with grocery store on lower level. Nice spacious apt. Nothing like the stairwell or elevator ! Very friendly staff!

This apartment hotel is in a great location. Located at a hill and there are many restaurants right at the bottom of the hill which is around 10 mins walk and the walk is very nice. The unit itself is space efficient and has everything described. The host is very responsive and friendly. We slept very well there and value is great. We would highly recommend this place to everyone staying in Kyiv!
