"Lovely old French Hotel. 1700,s. There were stairs that had some tiles missing so a hazard if you have trouble with stairs but the host helped us up with our luggage. Lovely nice size bathroom with a tub and heater in the bathroom. We would definitely stay here again it is close to everything including 2 food stores around the corner. Laundry facilities can be used in the evening. "

"Arriving at the property via the small lanes not helped by GPS navigation led to very low expectations. Once inside the gate there was a surprise. The property is an ancient convent with a lovely Chaple. The grounds a wildly planted with many different and interesting ponds, large fountains, and plantings. "Gorgeous hotel, nice staff, attractive room, small bathroom. We had one hot shower, one cold shower. Very minimal toiletries, nasty of soap and a strange shower gel dispenser on the wall of the shower. No complimentary water in the room. One coffee pod each, you have to pay for another one. It’s a shame, these are little things which can make a difference to your stay with minimal extra cost to the hotel."
