We would recommend Hotel Tranquilo to anyone visiting Las Penitas. Very clean and private. Perfect balance of a quiet hotel, private beach, and short walk to the malecon. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and served with a tasty drink. Purified water is on site, which was a plus. Misslady was awesome and provided the perfect service to balance privacy and attention. If we ever return, we hope to see her again since she represented Hotel Tranquilo and Las Penitas with excellence.

This beachside hotel is beautiful! Right on the sand with ocean views, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. The rooms are clean and comfy, and it has outdoor spaces sit and relax or work. The staff is friendly and makes you feel right at home.

Fabulous placer to stay right on the beach! There’s a swimming pool and lovely grounds with tropical plants and comfy hammocks and lounge furniture. Staff members Gustavo and Justino were pleasant and super helpful when it came to giving us info about local restaurants and local activities. They even set up our shuttle to our next destination. The room was very clean and had AC. AND there were beach cruiser bikes available at no extra cost.
