"This was a highlight on our drive from Lyon to Nice. In the charming small town of Fossano Italy, this beautiful former monastery was a special treat. Service was outstanding - friendly, respectful with English spoken flawlessly from many of the staff. Our room, with sky high vaulted wood beamed ceiling was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Modern bathroom with finished concrete bath and lovely toiletries. We enjoyed an apero in the bar ( complete with complimentary charcuterie...

"The hotel and surrounding property were beautiful. It is a new hotel set in the summer home of a past Italian king with vineyards and a forest to walk through. The hotel breakfast buffet was quite large, especially by Italian standards and everything was made fresh and delicious. The restaurant hotel had excellent food and we ended up eating there two nights because we enjoyed the first one so much. "

"Loved this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful with our needs and the rooms were well appointed. Our only suggestion would be to use blackout curtains in the rooms as they all face the parking lot, which is brightly lit all night. I wore an eye cover, which helped."
