"Really liked many aspects of this hotel. I was there in the winter for a visit to one of the many yards that calls Makkum home. Restaurant and service was two highlights and the view from the room was great. Bed and bedding, not so much, the team would need to switch things up for me to sleep well with both feeling dated and bedding not fitting well to the bed. "

"This was our first time at the hotel as we were visiting the area due to a friends wedding. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and always very helpful, specially when we had an issue with the charging point for our car. They were able to fix it and did it always being so polite and friendly. The breakfast is very good, with a lot of choice/options. "Het vakantiepark is voorzien van woningen die direct aan het water liggen en voorzien van aanlegsteigers. Vanaf hier kun je vissen. Je vangt ook vis. Op het park is het erg rustig en voor waterliefhbbers het ultieme. In Akkrum is niets te beleven. Wel enkele restaurants. Bakker,slager en supermarkt ook aanwezig."

Ook vonden we de toonzetting van het “zero tolerance” formulier op tafel erg onvriendelijk. Dat schade zal worden hersteld op kosten van de veroorzaker begrijpen we, maar dat kan ook vriendelijk worden verwoord. Verder hebben we genoten van de fantastische lokatie. "

"The hotel is set between a motorway and a petrol station which did not seem like a great location, however the hotel has its own grounds with a nice pond with some benches and was actually very relaxing outside area.
