"Le Choiseul was a beautiful place to stay with lots of charm and history. Their restaurant was wonderful and I recommend dinner there while staying at Le Choiseul. All of the employees were very gracious. My only two “complaints “ were that our room had no wifi (perhaps due the thick walls) and the shower hose could not be attached to anything so you always had to hold it. Otherwise I highly recommend the hotel and restaurant "

"Perfect place for visitors with a car as parking is difficult in the old city. Wonderful to have bar and lovely small food dishes available all day and into evening. It was too cold to use the pool but a lovely area for hot days. Also the lift in this old building was very helpful for baggage and upper floors. "

"This is a delightful property and the owners are personable and helpful. There is private off street parking. The location was excellent for walking the city. "This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. They have no coffee in the room, no laundry service. We had to check in through the restaurant since there is never anyone at the reception. At check out, we had to leave early (6am) and there was no one there again, he asked us to wait till 8 am even when we told him we had a flight. We were never even informed that reception is not available 24x7 which is the norm at 4 star hotels. Not a pleasant stay."
