"We enjoyed our stay at Marco Polo. The room was very comfortable and relaxing, the breakfast was excellent, the facilities were bright, clean and elegant. The gym has somewhat limited hours and equipment but it is there. It is convenient to the Old Town area, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming."

"Overall a great place. This is an older building that has been well maintained. But as a 1970s building it is showing its age and era of architecture. On the flip side, it was much less expensive than most hotels we have stayed at on this trip and as a result there seem to be more locals, which was refreshing. The waterfront beach area is fantastic. Our bathroom light only worked intermittently but no big deal. A nice relaxing small town location away from the hustle and bustle...

"Clean, excellent location, friendly staff. Lovely grounds. Great breakfast but a shame that you had to purchase drinks at dinner and couldn’t bring water in, not provided for free. The dinner quality could also be better."

"Wouldn't give this place 4 stars. I have been to 3 stars rated hotels with much higher quality. I wasn't planning to stay in the hotel but rather travel around the island all day long and then just come back for overnight. This is why I booked the cheapest option which is Classic Double Room. Even though Hotel was built just years ago the condition of the room was far from optimum. Besides the room was extremely small in terms of storage area. We didn't have place where to put our luggage cases,...

"Stay was a great one!"

"The hotel is well located and, overall, it is a good and reasonable hotel. It is situated right by the sea and close to the city centre. The pool area is also nice and adequate. The breakfast buffet is very large, with a great selection. The food in the restaurant, however, was somewhat disappointing and did not match the overall standard of the hotel. The staff were very friendly, although we experienced that the service level could be improved. For example, several times during our one-week...
