"The hotel is well maintained, exceptionally clean, has wonderful linens. We stayed in an upstairs room with very narrow winding staircase with no handrails. Difficult to navigate as we are a senior couple. The room was small, but well appointed. However, the peaked ceiling did not allow for a complete wall between the bedroom and bathroom and afforded little privacy. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. "I had a very short stay but was made to feel very welcome by my host. The breakfast in particular was extremely good and it was a shame I was not able to accept the kind gift of some homemade apple juice as I was leaving (traveling hand luggage only)."

"We have stayed here many times and enjoyed it. My only complaint is: If you advertise your breakfast is served until 12:00 Sunday Then don’t start putting the buffet away 45 minutes early. We have experienced this on more than one occasion and we’re quite disappointed. "
