"Ein schönes Hotel nahe dem Zentrum von Bamberg. Das Zimmer (wenigstens unseres) war zwar alt - aber gepflegt. Das Bett war prima bequem. Der Service war gut, ein - und auschecken ging flott. Für diejenigen, die Nachts noch Durst bekommen, gibt es im Haus verteilt Automaten. Leider oft in dunklen Ecken wo man mit dem Telefon leuchten muss um die Bedienung lesen zu können. Das Parkhaus ist mit 18 Euro pro Tag akzeptabel. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend. Was fehlt, ist eine Klimaanlage. Das war zwar...

"Lovely clean, modern hotel, spacious rooms, great staff, fantastic breakfast selection and lovely evening meals. "

"The hotel is in a great area to go hiking and to explore a little mountain region in Germany. The hotel was comfortable it had a homey feel to it the room was a bit small but hey it is Germany. Definitely a great mountain escape."

"Very large room with 5 large windows. Amazing bathroom with radiant heating on the bathroom floors which always kept our feet warm. Happy hour cakes and coffee are free and very tasty. Breakfast is scrumptious in a room with large windows looking unto the property which has a small creek running through it with a dreamy small castle in the back. Absolute the favorite place to stay on our lengthy vacation !!!"

"Well, as often in german and austrian hotels, it is old and without real quality. Staff was friendly and very helpfull but you have to find them first. Eventhough a little hotel they managed to make it difficult to find your room, I exactly pointed this out to them and they admitted there was a sign missing. Not a bad hotel but certainly NOT worth EUR 200 per night."

"Hotel is new building with large rooms and bathrooms. Very modern and clean. Owner took seven of us on a tour of the old palace/castle built, I believe, in 1715. Very good breakfast included--scrambled eggs, bacon, rolls, danishes, cereal, cheeses, tomatoes, various fruits, cold meats, etc. The restaurant served excellent dinners, and they have a nice, cozy bar. Handicapped accessible."
