"Casa do Sol was quiet compared to our previous stays here but this didn't stop the staff doing everything they could to make our stay agreeable. Of particular note was the high standard of the food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Go now and enjoy as the hotel will soon be busy again. A great place to stay before you go into Kruger."

"We hired 2 chalets' no's 528 & 529. 528 was in good shape but 589 was not. The master bedroom carpets were dirty and the chalet needed painting. We paid for half board but found the food generally very poor. Breakfast was OK with eggs cooked while you waited, the sausages and bacon were good but there was little fresh fruit. "Frontline reception staff had no authority to take any decisions. Room had bathing water that was running hot and then cold. We requested the staff to correct it but nothing was done about it. Food was of a sub optimal standard with very limited options. We were overcharged for the service we got. I would not recommend Sanbonani to international tourists, specifically from a “value for money” perspective. "

"This hotel was ok, I found the tent very cold even tho it had a AC unit but it still didn’t warm up. The bathroom was completely separate. You had to lock and unlock 2 doors to get to the kitchen/bathroom. There is everything you need. The hot tub wasn’t very hot and needed more water. The whole stay was ok but not amazing. "
