"This is by far the best hotel I have ever seen in my life. The stuff is so attractive. The rooms are amazing with service around the clock and fantastic breakfast. It could not be in a better area. You could just get out into the Louvre, Tivoli, Vandome. I will return next year."

"This property is very expensive. Let's get that out of the way right off. But my wife and I were super-impressed by the friendly staff. A gentleman escorted us around the hotel while other folks brought our bags to the room. Very nice attendant in the spa. The staff was gracious enough to speak to my wife in French, as she preferred. The room was full of super-nice extras, e.g., lots of electrical sockets (which is often not the case in historical hotels), rich carpeting, thoughtful lighting, beautiful bathroom. There was a ring holder in the bathroom, a great idea we hadn't seen before. My wife went to the spa twice (evening and morning). Nobody was angling for a tip. Indeed, when we ate dinner at the Bar Vendome, there was nothing on the bill to add a tip. Though, yes, Bar Vendome is also very expensive. It was a big splurge, but we enjoyed it completely."
