"Our holiday via the shuttle got off to a bad start as we had to return home 3 hours into the journey to collect a forgotten vital item. Consequently we arrived at the Marquis of Granby (via a typical M25 traffic snarl up) after the kitchen had closed down for the night. Without being prompted, we were offered soup and cheese board by Silva (the manager). Beer was good and bar staff cheerful. Excellent all round."

Room was very good with more than adequate space and facilities. Lacked a wardrobe but that was not a problem for one night. Breakfast was excellent and indeed better than a hotel at twice the price that I stayed in earlier in the week "

Becket Court is a student hall of residence on the campus of the University of Kent in Canterbury that offers bed and breakfast accommodation during the summer vacation.
