"The staff are very kind, the rooms are clean and modern. There is room service, pool is beautiful, there is a large shopping space called Solo Market in walking distance. It is impressive and It’s quite expensive in comparison to other area hotels. "

"This Royal Surakarta is overrated. The photos of the rooms i booked were totally different from the rooms i got. When you walk in the first thought is wow this is great, again the maintenance on the room was very little. The air-conditioning controller didn't work and the room temperature was bearly comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel. "
