My family of 7 ( 5 adults, 2 children 5 & 6) stayed at Aulani in November. As we arrived we were greeted outside and we all received leis. We had a 2 bedroom villa. It was so roomy, plenty of room for the 7 of us. Do not upgrade to an ocean view cause I believe all 2 bedroom villas are ocean view. When I booked, it said garden view but my was an ocean view over looking the garden (which was beautiful). It was a perfect time to go, no crowds! I pre-registered the kids & singed them up for...

They treated us like royalty. Private, beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer. The way the resort is set up its as though the beach is private, even though all public beaches in Hawaii are public. All of the staff knew my name, even those I hadn't talked to. All of the staff was great. The manager of Hoku's was the best.

Staying at The Ritz-Carlton Waikiki was an experience I just have to share. Honestly, it was the customer service that blew me away – it's like they've set a whole new standard. Imagine rating them 100 out of 10; that's how good they were. When our bidet had an issue, they had it replaced in less than 30 minutes. Needed a remote? Boom, delivered in 30 minutes as well. The valet parking wasn't just convenient, it was lightning fast. But, let me tell you, the real MVPs of our stay were the staff....
