"it was nice on the inside, but the outside was complete opposite. There were dining options but of the 3 places we went, they were all subpar. Dont get me started with the hotel, they charged you everything they could. They charged a $10 fee for "losing" a hand towel that was in the hotel room... Why would i steal a hand towel. The people were nice but would never return to DR, let alone this suite"

Puerto Plata

"DO NOT STAY HERE: POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Part 1 The issues began with misinformation between the resort and the member who owned the villa. I was given an incorrect price for the all-inclusive add-on. Even after the member acknowledged providing the wrong price, no meaningful effort was made to honor the quoted rate or provide a reasonable accommodation. Instead, after spending hours in the lobby trying to resolve the issue, I was left with only two options: downgrade my stay or accept a refund...

Hodelpa Gran Almirante Hotel & Casino

10/10 Excellent

"I can truly say that the stay at this resort was indeed phenomenal!! From the time we arrived the bell man was on the outside & greeted us pleasantly & introduced himself as he trolleyed our luggage he asked if we needed anything feel free to ask. The receptionist at the desk made sure, we received our room keys quickly. Oh my goodness the food at the restaurant was AWESOME & REALLY REASONABLE PRICE. WE EAT THERE EVERY NIGHT & in the mornings we enjoyed the FREE BREAKFAST. The breakfast chef made pancakes, omelets, & scrambled eggs to your liking. OVERALL I WILL RATE THIS HOTEL AN A+ . OF COURSE THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE, FRIENDLY & HELPFUL."
