"The staff were so friendly and well spoken. The palace is immaculate and so clean. Easy parking right out front which was free of charge for our rental car. The hotel also has an amazing restaurant for dinner which was one of our favourite meals of the trip. "The place was exactly as it looked on the pictures. Our aim was to relax with a view and that is what we did. The rooms were all nice, air conditioned and the dishwasher and washing machine a good addition. There are a number of good restaurants nearby - but quite a few steps to get there and back. "This hotel was excellent. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The whole hotel had an air of elegance but with a wonderfully understated luxury. The breakfasts were delicious but my only reason for a 4 star rating was that the dinners were not as expected. The menu was not great in its selection and not only was it very expensive but the portions were also very small. Overall though it’s a beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting."
