This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was unbelievable. Anything you need they handle with so much care. Whether you are out at the jacuzzi looking over the lake and they are bringing you drinks, or getting all of your clothes cleaned and pressed for a wedding, everything they do is top notch. We were totally delighted with our stay—everything was perfect. But the best part was the warmth and care that the mother and son give to their guests. They arranged our pickup from Rome Airport and when we arrived the son was there to greet us and carry our bags, show us the guesthouse and our room that had a balcony overlooking the promenade and sea. The location is very near the ship terminal but at our request he arranged for a taxi for us to go to our ship. We will definitely stay there...

Never stayed at a JK Place property before. Exceeded all expectations. Encountered 8-10 different staff during 3 night stay. Every one of them couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful, especially those at the reception desk. This includes the general manager who introduced himself and served us snacks and a welcome drink upon our arrival. Can't think of any way the staff could have provided better or more service. Think this can only be achieved by smaller boutique hotels like the JK Place...

Alex, Marco, & their children were extremely helpful in getting us from the airport, providing help in figuring out transportation to the sites we wanted to see, having amazing breakfasts, assisting us in ordering dinner in, & just making our stay fantastic! We loved the big balcony & spacious room with all the really nice amenities! We stayed for 3 nights & would definitely recommend it!

It is not possible to have a cleaner room than this one. There are beautiful marble floors, pristine and modern bathroom, and table and fridge with varied beverages and snacks included in the price. Francesco is also an excellent host, explaining everything in detail and patiently answering any questions. If I am ever in Civitavecchia again, this will be my abode of choice!

The spa is amazing. The food is delicious. The rooms were fun and the beds comfortable. The shower/bath was great. Go with expectations that you are staying someplace interesting and you won’t be disappointed.

I stay for almost 10 days with my two kids. The Maalot is first class. Located between the Trevi and Pantheon, which are very busy areas, the Maalot of pure quiet and peace as soon as you walk in.
