I recently stayed at villa permet which a 20 minute drive to the thermal baths. My mother and I were very very impressed and pleased with the villa, it was impeccably clean and beautifully done. Staff was wonderful, they even went out of their way when my mom forgot her bag and they had it delivered by bus to our next destination to saranda. With all its contents including my moms NY drivers license inside. Very trustworthy people including the bus driver

I liked that it was only 3-4 minutes walk away from the bustle of night activity but far enough away to sleep peacefully at night. There was nothing I disliked about my stay.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the young man at the front desk, who have is great suggestions for food and things to do, always checking to see how his recommendations went for us.

We had a great view directed at the castle. Really nice at night with lights. Staff was extremely helpful. Location was perfect for walking around old town. Decor of our room was unique and authentic Albanian. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved staying at Amalia’s house. Everything was spotless and cozy, and very peaceful and quiet. The courtyard is beautiful and it’s very easy to access the main areas of Gjirokastra with a quick walk up the hill. We’d love to come stay here again!

The location was awesome. Super easy to walk everywhere, fairly level to get to the Bazaar (which is rare based on what we saw). We walked to the castle as well, a bit uphill, but that’s true of every rental in town. All in all A++ for location. The dinner was absolutely delicious…there meatballs were incredible.
