"I will always remember the Sun Gardens hotel for its breath-taking views, their cheerful, helpful, and friendly staff, and for the legendary, world-class breakfast!
I will also remember Sun Gardens for the endless stairs at the residence part of the hotel. It was quite a workout going up and down those stairs for five days. Next time we will probably stay in the actual hotel, where there are elevators!"
"Staff throughout the hotel were excellent.
The availability of halal food was phenomenal, including at breakfast and across the hotel restaurants. Having this level of diversity and inclusion in this day and age makes the hotel feel incredibly welcoming and accommodating to guests from different backgrounds.
Food quality was excellent. Teppanyaki was particularly good and the chef was lovely.
Concierge was outstanding. Special mention to Antonia and Ivana – extremely responsive, organised and...
"Very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent with views of the sea and a lovely beach area. Excellent restaurant with a fabulous breakfast buffet and delicious à la carte options. A wonderful experience. The only drawback was our room had a few issues, such as with the card sensor at the door not working properly and the lights turning off automatically, which was a problem in the evening time being suddenly plunged into darkness. Nevertheless, we...
"Great amenities, indoor and outdoor pools, beach, spa (hot tub, saunas, gym). Really good restaurant at Lungomare. Nice rooms. Try to get a sea view, its worth it."
"The hotel is so beautiful and super clean 7stars specially that we had sea view with balcony it is amazing. Internet super fast 50m/s. brackfast is just good. Downside is that the location is far from old town so you will have to ride bus which is not a big problem specially that it goes every 20mins but cost 13 hkn/one way and 300hkn to and from airport.
There is side walk from the hotel to sunsets beach (wich has some restaurants and activities) along the shore so beautiful. IMPORTANT, we...
"This hotel over delivers. It’s in a great location. What I really enjoyed was the beautiful hotel and the room was great. The most amazing thing was the staff. I cannot say enough kind words. From the time we arrived until we left they really made you feel special. They were kind and always available. Other hotels could take a lesson. The breakfast was amazing and it came with the stay. If I decide to visit again this is where I would stay."
"Beautiful reception, library and restaurant. Staff wonderfully responsive. Excellent made to order breakfast with wide selection of. Dinner and wine selection of local wines is superb."
"Good location for access to Dubrovnik old town.
Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Rooms were disappointing considering the room rate, and not in line at all in terms of expectations from a hotel of this calibre. We had 2 twin rooms in the attic, they were obviously sub-optimal compared to other rooms, with no particular special rate granted for the inconvenience."
