Posto dove poter trascorrere una piacevole vacanza nel relax ritrovando quiete e temperature freschissime . Di fronte alla struttura c'è l'hotel sempre gestito dagli stessi proprietari dove potersi appoggiare sia per la colazione che per il pranzo e la cena ma accanto ci sono altri 2 ristoranti con bar e tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno. "Die Kommunikation mit unserer Vermieterin Isabella war schon im Vorwege sehr gut. Am Anreisetag haben wir über WhatsApp direkt unser Einchecken abgesprochen. Isabella hat uns persönlich empfangen, uns die Wohnung und das Grundstück gezeigt und sogar in die Geschichte des Hauses eingeführt. Uns wurden auch Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe gegeben. Kurz, wir fühlten uns sehr gut betreut und in guten Händen. Das Grundstück hat eine traumhafte Lage. Der Ausblick ins Tal ist schon beeindruckend, aber der Blick hoch in die bewaldeten Berge ist Atem berauben. Morgens und abends lauschten wir bei Frühstück bzw entspannten Ausklang dem Gesang der Vögel und im Dunkeln schwirrten zig Glühwürmchen um uns herum. Im Inneren ist das Haus sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns hat nichts gefehlt, um uns wohl zu fühlen. Wir sind mit unseren beiden Hündinnen angereist, die sich auch sehr gerne im komplett eingezäunten Grundstück aufgehalten haben. Unsere Hündinnen wurden auch sehr zugewandt von Isabella begrüßt. Beim Auschecken freuten sich die beiden auch wieder Isabella zu sehen. Der Vorgang war am Vorabend unserer Abreise ebenfalls sehr unkompliziert und herzlich. Da wir früh am Morgen abgereist sind, haben wir das Haus abgeschlossen und den Schlüssel ca 75 Meter weiter bei Isabella, die unsere nächste Nachberin war, in den Briefkasten gelegt. Danke, dass wir in diesem tollen Haus mit dem fantastischen Grundstück zu Gast sein durften. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"I'm not exagerating when I say, our week at Costola was the best time of our lives! I planned my half Indian, micro destination wedding here. We took a huge chance, since we could not see the venue beforehand, or taste test the food, and I knew we also had very different cultural requirements than most weddings at the property. But from the first reply Marie sent us, I knew booking Costola was the right decision. She was exceptional in her communication and her organization. We trusted that all would go well when we got there, and it did. The owners and their staff were so accomodating. From the check in day, to our welcome dinner, to our Haldi, to the actual wedding, everything ran flawlessly. As for the property itself, pictures dont do it justice. It was breathtaking to see the ancient stone walls and the mountain views behind it in person. Every guest that stayed with us was obsessed with the beauty we were surrounded by, and said it was one of the best trips they've ever been on.The food? Delicious! The views? Incredible. The owners? Life of the party! They danced with us through the night, and I was so happy to see them enjoying themselves! Our week at Costola was a core memory for all our family and friends, that we will forever cherish. Thank you Marie, the owners, and your whole team!"

"The hotel staff were the best part of this old hotel. Rather old fashioned, other references talk about a pool? Despite the heat I saw nothing of this. Bathroom was clean but very very dated, everything worked although bathroom door did not shut properly. Breakfast was very basic but 24 hour help yourself affair, useful when coming in for a quick top up of coffee / water / juice. It was very noisy, mainly other guests, you could hear every little noise. I chose the hotel as it was roughly midway between Florence and Pisa. This was convenient but it’s 35 minutes walk from the station, there is apparently a bus although I walked each day."
