"Das großzügige Haus, ist sehr neuwertig und schön. Kleine Probleme wurden fast alle sofort gelöst. Da das Haus etwas abgeschieden vom Meer liegt, dachten wir, es wäre ruhiger. Alle 3 Schlafzimmer liegen leider an einer Durchgangsstraße, die auch Nachts stark und schnell befahren wird. Fenster öffnen ist unmöglich. Die super leise Klimaanlage hat das Problem gelöst. Tempolimit würde allen guttun."

"A beautiful villa which was very clean and had everything you would need. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every utensil we needed. The closeness of Pingo Doce supermarket which was 10 minutes away meant we were never without fresh fish, meat , salad and wine. It was great to have the swimming pool to come back to after a day at the local beach in Foz Do Arelho, our favourite and surrounded by wonderful restaurants. We would definitely go back again and enjoy the surroundings even...

"Booked this villa for a big family holiday to celebrate a 40th birthday. Paulo made the booking process so easy with same day replies to all our questions leading up to the holiday, handy tips and being so accommodating to our requests even during our stay. The villa had something for everyone. With the heated pool, jacuzzi, games room and lovely local beaches - we had the best time! About 30/40 mins from Lisbon - super easy to book Ubers. "We loved the house , modern, tastefully decorated. Fab garden and nice and quiet as is the resort. Local beach is 10 mins away by car and stunning. More like a surfing beach as waves are huge. Definitely recommend the house. The resort has a great golf course, some tennis and oaddle courts and a club house. A great week for my family"

"The manager, Vera, is superb. She was able to set up boat rides, Fado evening, restaurants, and a fabulous wine tasting, and was always helpful and wonderful. The pool is super, the house could use window screens and fans in every room, and the owner should make sure all closets are empty. The wine from the estate is fantastic."

I would say a car is essential as everything is at least a 10 minute drive away with the bigger supermarkets being about 15 minutes away. The villa was supplied with everything we needed and Adelino was quick to answer any questions we had while there. We had 5 adult family members which enjoyed the week swimming and having fun playing in the games room. There were three floors plus a basement with games room. The best that we have stayed in. The villa is large, spacious and really well equipped. Mornings and evenings spent on the balconies were a particular favourite. The villa was very comfortable and large, and the pool was great. There is not much else in Assenta, but there is a small supermarket in Charneca, which is only a few km away, and much larger supermarkets in Silveria and Ericeria.
