"We loved the location, inside the walls; we enjoyed walking along the castle walls and wandering the twisty, old, cobblestone streets. We found excellent cafes and restaurants within Óbidos and did a day trip by bus to Nazaré. However, the 1 bathroom was tiny- it was challenging to even turn around. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper and I didn’t feel comfortable putting in and cleaning my contact lenses over that little sink. "The roof top apartment high above the town and beaches did not disappoint. We were thrilled with our all too short visit but the spectacular sunset was everything we hoped to see. The night sky and the stunning morning views also were lovely. The morning walk just over to the cliffside board walk was the perfect way to start the morning. "The views are priceless. The accommodation is a bit rustic but very nice. Great restaurants are a 15 minute walk (although the options are quite limited in early February). If you're from Ontario you'll get a kick out of the porcelain tile on the side of the building. Sorry, no spoiler pictures!"
