"A warm welcome on arrival. All staff were courteous and respectful. Room was ideal for what we wanted, 2 double beds plenty big enough. Powerful shower, clean with plenty of towels. Breakfast was varied and of good quality. Overall a fantastic stay. Just be mindful, no alcohol allowed or sold on site. "

"I usually get a day room at City Lodge Hotel on my way out of Joburg. I choose them because they typically have a good online rate for an overnight stay. The hotel is massive - you could easily walk 15 mins to your room if it is at the far end of the footprint. The staff is always lovely and my room and bathroom were very clean and updated this trip. They have also upgraded their hair dryers in the wing where I was. Since I was only there for a few hours, I was grateful they put me in a room that was close to reception. The room is basic and everything you need from a quick stay or day room. "
