" paid £410 for a 2 night stay. Upon check in I was presented with a list of rules (empty bins, strip beds on departure amongst others) and asked for a €400 deposit for any potential breakages of which couldn’t be processed due to restrictive refund policies. "The facilities of the hotel are excellent. The only shame is the woodland cabins appear to be removing the kids playground. The reception staff at check in weren't very helpful, we had a tiring train journey and just needed a run around for the boys but they suggested outside of the hotel, they didn't realise they had a playground. Outside of the hotel, little Switzerland is lovely in the woods but there needed better pedestrian access from the hotel. The pool indoors is great, we had kids so couldn't g outside, but meant the indoors was great for the kids. The robot was a bit of a shame, we wanted to use for ice cream but if the phone is on mute you won't know it's there and we ended up with it an hour late, melted and no refund. Restaurant in the hotel - all the food is lovely, very tasty and something for most people."
