"This hotel is a great choice when visiting Aarhus. It's about 20 minutes outside the city but that means it's quiet and there's free parking. The room was large with a coat area and seating area plus the bed. The bed was a little too firm and comforters were individual sized. There were a few pillows to choose from. The curtains weren't blackout but there wasn't much light bleed. The bathroom was great. There was a deep soaker tub and a separate shower. The amenities were very nice....

"Very cute hotel in the middle of the old town. Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, but the noise from the street kept waking us up - garbage trucks, street cleaners, & seagulls began at the crack of dawn. Get a room in the back to avoid this detail. Breakfast was very nice and the coffee was delicious. Arhus is a beautiful city, enjoy!"

"We enjoyed our stay of 11 days. Spacious room and bathroom. Shower has a poor design as water runs all over the bathroom floor. And we missed a small fridge in the room. Breakfasts were very good. The beds were comfortable. The Scandic Aarhus City Hotel is well situated near restaurants and shops."

"Lovely hotel, super-friendly staff, very clean, and extra compliments to the kitchen - super breakfast and the dinner was exquisite 👌 The hotel is near the Marselisborg Forests in one direction, and 30mins walk into Aarhus centre in the other direction - plus the beach and sea is right in front of you - a perfect location if you love walking and want to get a good rest by the sea in the evening, hearing the waves crashing all night. "The cabins are old and need a bit of work. In the ‘wet’ room bathroom, the water from the shower ran away from the drain and out towards the kitchen. The crockery, pots and pans weren’t clean and the mattresses were stained, saggy and soft. It’s very basic accommodation but as they charge you more than a family room at a good hotel it needs to be much better."
