Room and bedding were clean, but unfortunately the mattress was way past its use by date. Don't think it had any springs left, was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable so got very little sleep. Staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast very good but plates cold and food just warm although this wasn't a problem for me. Ideal location - close to train, buses, music venue, shops. Price was fine for what we got and it was only for 1 night. Would rather pay more for a better bed if staying longer.

The room was comfy and clean. Our rooms were ready when we got there and they allowed us to check in early. It was difficult to find the car-park, but was secure when we did find it (right by the hotel, but a very small entry). Nice location. I would stay here again.

Car park was full at the rear of building but they have another car park further up which we were not aware of. Staff were really friendly and bar was nice but a bit pricey.Breakfast was great and worth the extra to booking. Location is great for local shops and transport links. We would stay again if in the city.

Lovely large clean room and lovely breakfast. Bit surprised when the bar shut at 10.30 pm on a Friday night without warning. Quite a lot of city noise at night so would recommend ear plugs.

As expected the hotel was very close to the Railway Station. Very handy for local shops and restaurants. This is a very dependable hotel a d you cant fault it for the price. The room was clean the bed comfortable and towels were clean fluffy and there were plenty of them.
