Staff at check in were courteous and helpfull. Room was clean but lacked some of the amenities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. No fridge or water. Slippers were advertised as part of the room but were not provided. Having to request room upkeep on the previous day was a strange idea. Also we were very surprised at having to pay extra for parking, which was not mentioned in the booking page.

All is perfect! We loved all! My kids enjoyed the swimming pool, and I really loved the gluten free food! For me the Hunting chicken is the best Aberdeen’s hunting chicken (yes, eat the similar food in other differents places in Aberdeen! But, of the hotel restaurant is the best!).

The reception was lovely and warm, however the bedroom was not! Even turning the heating up to full and leaving the room for a few hours, did not help much. The bar was fairly warm, but the dining room was so cold, that they actually had an electric heater, plugged in. The price of their beer was extortionate, at £5:50 per bottle. In the local supermarket, you could get the same bottled beer for just over a pound per bottle.

Staff on reception were excellent. Not enough breakfast staff for the amount of residents Swimming pool poor and most lockable lockers were broken. Room was so hot it was uncomfortable and could hardly sleep. Breakfast was terrible. Good awful and the queueing system didn’t work for the volume of people there
