"Rooms are smaller than expected but clean. I would shop price also because you’re not getting an American Hilton Experience here at this Scotland property and for the prices they charge I was expecting more. Lots of options in the area that charge less and experience will be the same. I don’t travel to Scotland to eat in the lobby restaurant. I want to experience the restaurants, especially pubs, in the area. I chose Hilton expecting more but served its purpose just fine. Staff is friendly."

"Very convenient location. Public areas fresh and clean. Bedroom was good. The bathroom shower could have done with a good clean and recaulking. That was the one thing that kept it from getting a five star rating."

"While the hotel is showing its age, it's very clean and the staff are helpful. Bus station to town is just outside the building and the buses are coming regularly. Toiletries are provided, and also tea+ instant coffee, Kitkat bars, Nescafe coffee pods and still+ mineral water bottles . The room was cleaned daily and towels replaced regularly, couldn't have asked for more. The only issue was the Wi-fi, barely getting any signal except close to the window, however I used personal data so it did not affect me much. I would definitely recommend staying here"

"The first night of our stay was absolutely miserable. When we complained about our horrible room staff immediately turned on us. We spoke with the night manager the next morning and he was the only staff truly sincere about helping us while the other staff continued to be rude. We truly thank him for relaying the problems to the correct people and resolving the situation."
