"Ich war mit meinen beiden Söhnen für eine Woche zum Skifahren in Matrei, und die Ferienwohnung im Haus Sonnenhang war die perfekte Unterkunft für uns. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und zuvorkommend; die Ferienwohnung war schön groß, verfügte über zahlreiche Annehmlichkeiten (z.B. "The property staff is extremely friendly. My friend left cash in her room after checkout and retrieved it 4 hours later from front staff! They also offered us free breakfast buffet, even Expedia did not offer it to us. Highly recommended! Oh, cow bells all day are lovely."

"Beautiful property in a wonderful location with very helpful and kind staff. I wish we had picked a better room as our view was the parking lot, but can’t beat the amenities! Definitely recommend paying a little extra for a balcony with view room. 😀 Dinner wasn’t included in Expedia reservation so it’s an additional 35 euro pp for 4 courses. They save the table for the duration of your stay - service is phenomenal. "

"I truly don’t know how other reviewers had bad things to say about this hotel. We had a triple room with a lake view and although it wasn’t the best view it was still beautiful and true to the photoessay. The breakfast and dinner were fabulous. The dinner was 40euro/person but was a four course meal and worth it. It was a wonderful location and wonderful staff. Would definitely return. "

"Although the weather hasn’t been great we still had a lovely stay. The apartment we stayed in was very clean and cosy. It has everything you need and it is well located within walkable distance to the town centre. Stefano and his family were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely come back again. "
