A Motte and Bailey at Abington. These earthworks on the west side of the River Clyde date back to the early 12th century. The monument on the left 1305842 is dedicated to Matthew McKendrick, a former postmaster at Abington and keen angler.

Windows don't fit properly, so draughty and hear outside road noise. Have stayed in 3 different rooms, same experience. Cheaper than other nearby hotels, but expect better. Note they charge extra £5 to park if u dont book direct, read the small print. Staff nice though.
