"It was one of the most beautiful places I stayed at in Costa Rica! Mine was a patio room looking right at the mountain with lush gardens right in front of the patio. If I ever decide to visit Costa Rica again, Arenal Observatory Lodge will be my first choice to stay in that area! "Our stay at the ranch was wonderful. The room we had came with A/C which was very nice to come back to after long days in the sun. The staff (specifically Kevin, went above and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed.) They organized a lot of our activities we did while in La Fortuna. The bar and restaurant on property are a nice touch if we didn’t feel like going out that night or going anywhere for breakfast or lunch. I couldn’t recommend this place any more! Fantastic! "

It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area.
