The room had no remote to the tv, the phone did not work, the room door would not stay shut unless it was locked, the hot water went out and the staff took over an hour to bring our food. The breakfast was not nice, was told they reheat the food by microwave which means it wasn’t freshly made. More than likely will not be staying again.

I particularly loved the staff, all categories. They gave the place a warm family touch. As the famous phrase goes in Ghana, you certainly felt "invited"! --- Furthermore, in the weekends many locals came to visit the beautiful big pool area, and the whole place vibrated with lively activity, including the man by the grill preparing delicious meat and sausage dishes. --- The breakfast was always a real treat, and you stayed satisfied for a long time of the day. --- The room was always kept very clean and neat, however, I would have liked complimentary water bottles every day, but the nearby super-market took care of that need. Also, around the corner from the hotel a small, but well-stocked wine store is to be found, and most other needs can easily be covered around the hotel. --- Given the many guests at the hotel, it is still surprisingly quiet during the evening and night. --- Technically, the WiFi worked without much hassle, and so did the AC, shower, etc. --- The hotel also has a biiiiig gym, free of charge for its guests. --- In summary, I definitely strongly can recommend the hotel for a short or long visit!

It's clean and smart with nicely finished decor. Staff are friendly and efficient. It's in a great location for getting to the airport and is not bad for getting to the beach by taxi. Surrounding roads are easy. The pool was closed and completely drained when I arrived which is a bit disappointing but I would stay here again hands down.

The hotel was at best just ok. The hotel in general was pretty rundown. They didn't have that much to offer in general, i.e. they didn't have several food options to offer although it was in the food menu (no fruitsalad, no ice cream, no smoothies, no pineapple pizza, etc). They also had 2 pools (actually 3, but one of them was completely shut off during our entire stay), but after a couple of days they started maintenance on them and they were also shut off. No compensation or alternatives for the pools being shut off, no nothing. Before that the pools were dirty, they didn't cover them so all type of insects found their way there. Entertainment at the hotel was non-existent. They had miniature ants in the bathroom and the drain in the shower was not working properly. The windowshelf was dirty and clearly not cleaned for a while. There was a terrace to the room, but it was locked and therefore unaccessible. The positive thing with the hotel was that the staff were nice and serviceminded. And the location was good; close to all the places one wanted to reach and it felt like a safe environment. The room was big and pretty good.

They cancelled my reservation for without telling me at all despite calling on the phone two days before to confirm I was still coming and I arrived late at night and stranded. The manager had to put me in another hotel that the staff was so so ruled and with no manners. Empfang an der Rezeption war nicht sehr erfreulich, hatten unser Zimmer vergeben, trotz vorheriger Kommunikation mit Hotel, und meinten dann, gegen Aufpreis, oder ohne Frühstück, könnten wir ein anderes Zimmer erhalten.....war nicht, was wir erwartet hatten. Manager hat das Gespräch mit uns gesucht, sich entschuldigt, aber am Service änderte sich nicht viel.

decent stay

We stayed at this property for over a week and in general we had a nice time. We felt relatively safe during our stay. However, I sincerely doubt that we will stay here again. A few minor issues included not having an extra key to the room and a strong odor coming from the bathtub drain that staff sprayed prior to us getting settled into the room. That smell lingered into our room for the entire stay. The bathroom had a see-through sliding glass door which made it very difficult to preserve privacy during the stay with another individual. There is an on premise restaurant where the complementary breakfast is prepared. Every breakfast included egg omelets and chicken sausage that unfortunately got repetitive very fast. We also found that the kitchen did not always everything on their menu which made it hard to decide upon meals quickly. Outdoor area around the restaurant was nice and kept well. The grounds were nice and there is a gym where there are morning and evening workout sessions that I did not learn about until the night before we left. The property is not really walk-able but the roads in the area are largely smooth if not paved (roads around the property were unfortunately unpaved during our visit).
