"This is a lovely spot on the hill above the center of town. It is within walking distance to restaurants, stores, and the water. It has a secluded small garden patio, lovely for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. There are plenty of suggestions on things to do and places to eat. We fell in love with Oban and would have stayed longer if we could. If we ever get back we would definately stay here again."

"While the facilities provided in the apartment were as stated, the dark location at the rear of the building was disappointing with virtually no outlook. The constant humming from the electronics was particularly annoying to hearing aids. We never used the cooking facilities, so cannot comment. For a 1 week stay this is not a great facility and in our opinion is overpriced."

The VRBO Listing showed the apartment as having both a washer and a dryer. We chose this apartment based on the advertisement of having a dryer as we knew we would need to do laundry at this juncture in our trip. As it turned out, the listing was wrong...there was no dryer. "stayed 3 nights with my husband between xmas and new year. the apartment is welcoming and spotless and of a very good standard. the view from the front is stunning. we did have a powercut due to storm gerrit but it did not stop us having a restful few days. Good location to visit lots of places nearby and Inverness was only 1 hour away. Would recommend!"

"Pros: Clean, comfortable bed, heating, fully stocked kitchen, within a walking distance to city center. Cons: Lacking ventilation in the bedroom, Sleeping is challenging due to creaking floor from the upstairs apartment (you can hear every for footstep), patio chairs outside are unusable since there is no cover against the rain."
