Very easy check in, quiet and updated rooms and the breakfast was a selection of hot options and continental breakfast. Lovely atmosphere with traditional Scottish music rather that the modern pop we heard in most restaurants. We really enjoyed this location and would recommend it to anyone. "

"The hotel had such charm and I am amazed with the three staff members we chatted with that was keeping up the whole place. This hotel cannot be compared to modern hotels these days; and I wouldn't want to. The Lock Maree has a bar and restaurant on site; which I would highly recommend having dinner and breakfast. The staff was so nice and helpful. We walked the grounds in the afternoon and had such a lovely, quiet, peaceful time at the hotel. Highly recommend and I can't say much more about this place except you have to stay a night or two at least. "
