"I booked my stay well in advance of my trip. I ended up needing to add a few days and contacted the lister. They never got in contact with me after a month, I figured because it was still months away they were just busy, so I cancelled and rebooked with the updated dates. I arrive in Amsterdam after an 11hr flight and am about to board a 1hr train into Antwerp to find my listing cancelled. "It had water damage from over a year ago and still under repairs." "The owner entered the room without permission and without a shirt - his usual attire- and began yelling because we turned on the heat in the kitchen (a wood stove) in order to have heat in the top floor room. He said it would cost us 10 EU per day to have heat at night. The kitchen was so filthy with a rancid greese odor we could not cook anything. The room was also very dirty.
