"This place looked like an old hotel that we probably bumped into this very year in a stepping-stone period towards its becoming a proper boutique hotel (perhaps I will go back next year to double check). "We stopped in Scario on the way to Amalfi from Sicily. It was in the perfect spot to stop along the way and a beautiful quiet retreat after being on the beach in Mondello for a week. The owners were very easy to deal with and very understanding of our long drive to get there and our lateness. The drive into the location is a little confusing in the dark. "Das Apartment war ganz neu und sehr hell und modern und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gab einen großen Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer zu Füßen. Dort gibt es auch eine Minibucht mit Sandstrand. Ein größerer Strand mit Liegen und Strandbar ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, die ganz großen Strände (u.a. Playa del Flamingo) sind 10-15 Minuten hinter dem Porto gelegen.
