"A lovely hotel in a pretty, tranquil mountainside location. Good sized room which was well-furnished. The outside pool area was great. We ate at the restaurant and sat outside looking up at the mou tains. The food was very good as was the service. On a slightly cooler evening we were able to have drinks round the fire table. As a half-way stop on a 2 week tour of B.C and Alberta this was a welcome retreat."

"Property was exactly what we were looking for, the only issue was that our stay was not long enough. Waterfront was amazing, kids loved jumping off the Dock and our daughter loved her room with the deck and the big tub! Would definitely recommend the property."

"This is an aging property in the middle of town very near the freeway, which is advertised in pictures as being set in the country. The noise from the freeway was not perceptible in the room, but you could hear it in the parking lot. The room was very clean and large (suite room), but the bed was uncomfortably soft. The owner was engaging, helpful, very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very pleasant, cooked to order from a few options. Good coffee and juices."

"Only issue was requested 2 queen beds, when arrived room had one queen and a double sofa bed. Not what my booking indicated. Staff member made bed for us, but it was an uncomfortable nights sleep for sure."

"The place is spotless and had absolutely everything you needed. restaurants and Grocery stores are very close and if you needed anything done from the owners, they were there very quickly. Great place to vacation. The owners are very nice people making the experience that much better"

"Stayed for one week in early August 2026 — Unfortunately, our stay coincided with wildfire smoke and poor air quality, which affected our experience, but this was obviously outside the host’s control, so review is focused on the property only:Pros:-house was spacious enough for 10 of us to gather comfortably, share meals, play games, watch movies etc.-the property is right on the water with very close access to the shore, including its own dock, which was nice for swimming and paddle boarding- beautiful views when visibility is clear- air conditioning- toilets and plumbing all worked well- peaceful and quiet location- owner was responsive to issuesCons:-sofabed and regular bed mattresses were noticeably uneven and lumpy -the BBQ propane tank was empty and we had to refill the tank ourselves with reimbursement from the owner-basement had very low ceilings (mentioned in previous reviews) and was quite cold at times because we couldn't control central air conditioning very wellBottom line: we paid over 9K for seven nights, which is quite high, so we were expecting a more elevated experience. But it met our needs to accommodate 10 of us together comfortably, plus waterfront access. The wildfire situation put a damper on our ability to fully enjoy the outdoors, but it was still a pleasant space and environment to be in."

"We couldn't have asked for a better lakeside experience. The property backs right onto the lakeshore and there's a dock, Adirondack chairs to enjoy swimming and paddling from on the dock.The bed was super comfortable and the little kitchen was ideal for our meal prep. There was a nice little patio to sit on right outside the unit. The hosts Susan and Kerry were great folks. A perfect getaway for two!"
