"Camp Figtree was absolutely wonderful - stunning location, wonderful lodgings, fabulous food, and the loveliest people...It's a very special place and we felt a real pang when it was time to leave. Everything was managed smoothly throughout with fab communication from Karin who arranged transfers and safari days for us (and was very patient with assorted queries!) before we even arrived. All the team we met were fantastically welcoming...to name a few, Wicky (excellent driving and conversation),...

"We have never stayed anywhere quite like it. Absolute luxury, complemented by the most attentive, courteous and professional staff we have ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel truly special and cared for in the most extraordinary way. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and nothing was ever too much trouble. "Fantastic place. Great home-cooked food cooked and served in a home-style atmosphere by the staff on a deck with amazing views. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring Addo. The property also has giraffes and sheep, both of which walked directly past our room!"

"Very pleasant stay, excellent food, clean and tidy. "

"My family and I had a very comfortable 3-night stay at Happy Lands and visited Addo Elephant Park each day. On arrival, we were welcomed by the lovely host family to a very peaceful setting. The cottage patio looks onto beautiful gardens with mature trees. My husband wasn’t able to join us on this holiday, and we’ve already decided that we’d love to visit again to show him the farm. "

"This guest house is really lovely. They have wonderful, caring staff who cook a fresh, made to order breakfast each morning. I would definitely stay here again! "

"Very nice accommodation on a farm near Addo Park. Nice rooms with veranda and outdoor shower. Wonderful well-kept garden with views over the surrounding hills. Pleasently quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby for dinner. Breakfast all good. Very nice host who tried very hard to make our stay pleasant. Thank you, we would book there again at any time. "

"Established tented camp with interesting succulents plants and lots of birdlife. Home cooked meals. "
