Have stayed several times at this property. Was my ‘go to’ in Adelboden, but the attentiveness of staff is now lacking, and the front desk personnel were so unwelcoming (you only get once chance to make a first impression), we’ll probably head somewhere else in town for future stays. In the past, the pool, views, and suites were such a draw, but all of those things lose their appeal when the staff make you feel like you’re hanging at a hostel.

Absolute 5 star experience. The staff are so accommodating and the the view from the pool is next to none. Best hotel I've stayed at. The customer hospitality is in matched. Need a car for a day? They let you borrow there mini cooper, great way to explore the rest of Switzerland at your own pace

Loved this hotel. The Staff are super helpful and friendly. Give great tips on what to do and where to eat. Loved the sauna/steam room. And the outdoor pool. Outdoor pool is small and there are times where it is too full of people taking instagram shots. But it was open a good amount of the day.

The stay was great, with impeccable accommodations and hotel facilities. The pool and the service from the staff, especially Gabriel, were very good. The only exception was the parking fee (20 CFH), as I was informed at check-in that there would be no charge. Thank you.

Top-notch stay and worth the cost

Wonderful service, very nice restaurant (dinner and breakfast), slick design, nice spa and pool, friendly staff and amazing views (try to get rooms facing the valley, and not the street!). I don't normally spend so much on hotels, but this really was worth it.

We loved this property and our stay. I would definitely recommend staying. I will only mention a couple of items that are just my opinion. We could never get reception on the phone, we had to walk down to talk to them. They were always amazing and friendly, but it would have been nice to get some ice or towels via a phone. The outside pool is SMALL and CROWDED it’s very nice/clean, easy to access. But it looks so much bigger in the pictures. It had 20 people in it every day, included kids which was probably 10 too many! Other than that… the room was awesome, the weather was great, view amazing, staff so helpful, parking was easy, food was goo, breakfast buffet was a large, spa was enjoyable, lots of shops/restaurants near by and near a waterfall you can hike. Recognize the location, it’s about 1hr away from Interlaken. While it’s 14 miles, your on a mountain.

We recently stayed at The Cambrian Hotel in Switzerland, booking a deluxe Mountain Panorama View room with the expectation of a balcony. However, upon check-in, we were surprised to find that the room we received had a very small window and no balcony, which was a stark contrast to what was advertised on the hotel's website and booking platforms. Paying around 650 CHF per night for a two-night stay and not receiving the room we expected was disappointing. The discrepancy between the room we received and the representation provided during booking was quite significant. We believe that if a room does not have a balcony and only features a small window, it should be sold at a different price point. Additionally, we were disheartened by the attitude of the front desk staff, including the duty manager, when we politely raised our concerns.
