Adlestrop House Adlestrop House is situated nexzt to the church and is a large impressive Georgian House, it used to be the Rectory. Jane Austin visited on three occasions in 1794,1799 and 1806 and stayed with her uncle who was the Church Rector.

Adlestrop station sign in the bus shelter The sign is one of the old station signs. It was moved here after the station closed. The plaque on the bench contains the famous poem by Edward Thomas about Adlestrop. First line: "Yes, I remember Adlestrop. The train stopped there."
