"We attended a 3-day event at the Michigan International Speedway and after a long, busy (loud) day we were giddy to retire to this soft, quiet place and renew. The house is beautifully appointed, relaxing, spacious and the view from the back deck over the lake melts away any stress from the day. Melinda is a wonderful host - thank you for everything!"

"Very nice property! Lots of room for our family to spread out. Welcomed surprise with snacks available in fridge/freezer upon our arrival (great as our flight arrived late and we did not have time for dinner)! Property lacked coffee pot (Keurig was available, but our family drinks A LOT of coffee) and grill needed to be replaced. Host very responsive when we needed dishwasher detergent and tissues."

"What an amazing host!! So easy to communicate with, always responsive and helpful with questions. Our team traveled from Bradley University to compete in the formula car competition at MiS. We needed the space to eat, sleep, have team meetings and down time to recover and this property was more than we could hope for. Thankful and blessed!!!"

"We took wedding pictures there for my son’s wedding. Spent the day before and wedding and after to enjoy the beautiful lake and beach setting. The kids played in the sand and caught some great fish! Had a family cook out and also enjoyed the neighbors company! I highly recommend this house! We will be back!"

"This property was perfect for 13 of my extended family to visit my 92 year old aunt that lives in Saline. We had lots of room to spread out, everyone had a comfortable bed and it was the best stocked house we’ve ever stayed at. Plenty of towels, extra pillows, & toiletries provided were so appreciated. "Good little place to stay. We didn’t get much time to do much on the property as we were there for a family loss, but if we had time, it was very spacious. Nice views of the lake. The home is a little out dated, but it’s a little town so it wasn’t something unexpected. Showers are smaller than usual, but manageable. Overall good little getaway for affordable price."
