"This house was a nice spot to gather while we visited our son at school. We enjoyed the location and were able to walk around and visit the cute nearby shops while we waited to check in. (When we arrived, we learned that the guests before us had left a mess, so the woman who was cleaning the place wasn’t finished yet. "Awesome building! Size of the loft was amazing! Great for our four year old son to run around after being in the car all day. In our next hotel in Roanoke (typical hotel room) our son kept opening the closet and bathroom doors looking for the “rest of the place.” Asking “where’s the rest of the rooms?”Good location. Clean kitchen. Straight forward check-in and out. Loved doing a load of laundry before traveling onto our next location. Beautiful building. Cool history. Great shower too. "

"While there are other houses visible, this property was extremely quiet and relaxing. Great location, "civilization" easily accessible...just a short drive. Hope to stay again when we're more physically mobile (one broken back and one broken leg... hopefully we'll be fully recovered soon). Plenty of historic sites nearby."
