"I was very surprised with breakfast! It was full German style one and I liked it a lot. Parking was great and close to a grocery market by walk. By the war I’m mexican ethnicity and but the Mexican restaurant wasn’t pleasant.. I felt somewhat fusion with Italian or American Italian style. Food wasn’t authentic (I mean I understand but 😬) and some of food we ordered wasn’t even 1 person portion.. I don’t think I’m going to trust the public review anymore lol since everyone said the Mexican restaurant in the hotel was amazing! It’s just not even close to Mexican food. "

"Great staff who are always happy to help. The hotel is clean and tidy, the team responsible for cleaning do a great job. The restaurant has a limited menu but the food is really good. I have stayed here a couple of times now, and will again in the future should I need to be in this area for business again."

"The staff was fabulous, even leaving a personalized welcome note in our room. Things like that mean so much! Easy walk to the quaint shops in Old Town and if you walk right across the park you'll find a hidden gem - a Botanical Garden established in the 1500s! We loved our stay at Hotel Rochat. "It was overall of excellent standards however beds not exactly comfortable and pillows were extremely soft (in a bad way) and beds did not seem to be straight as we got the sensation that the head part was collapsing making you feel like you are sleeping upside down. Also, extremely gimmicky to use lifts due to different cards and designated lifts for different areas. Having said that, staff was incredibly polite and professional, they accommodated a very special request to fantastic standards and promptly, hotel was clean as you’d expect and overall a very high standard service (including catering)"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly. We needed to have our taxi pick us up early because of our early flight time. The staff allowed us to eat breakfast before the dining room was opened. We really appreciated it. "

"Check-in was easy and friendly. We had a superior room which was quiet, facing out to a courtyard rather than the road. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities good. It was great to have a pool as well as the gym. The breakfasts were plentiful, setting us up for the day. We were initially unsure about the hotel's location as the route took us sideways away from the recognisable routes to the old town, past a park and down a steep, secluded slope. However once there the hotel is on a wide road served by trams and with the theatre area only about 10 minutes walk away. There is also a parallel street full of bars and restaurants so there is plenty of choice nearby. Overall, we were very happy with our choice of hotel and recommend it highly."
