Wonderful getaway!
We had an absolutely wonderful time visiting the area and staying at this cottage! All of the reviews are accurate… the cottage is very clean with modern amenities, and has a beautiful horse pasture in the back yard. Communications with the host were also fantastic. The only thing folks should know is that the property is situated close to the main road. It didn’t bother us as you can tell from our rating, but some may want more privacy.

great location - well thought out
We enjoyed our extended weekend away with our adult son exploring all the beauty and bounty that Nelson County has to offer. Christine's cottage is well placed and stylishly designed which only elevated our experience in this wonderful spot in Virginia. We lacked for nothing - except maybe another bedroom for future visits so we can make it a true family vacation with our other kids! Really great launch pad to explore the wineries, breweries and super hiking desitinations. From the cottage deck we enjoyed star filled night skies and blue birds and yellow finches greeting us each morning. It was a peaceful place. This cottage is perfect for a small family or two couples.

Great Cottage
My husband and I, along with our 2 dogs, had a fantastic week at the cottage. It was incredibly clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Despite the heat outside, the fans/AC kept the cottage cool and was very quiet. We loved the proximity to multiple towns along with wineries, breweries (one across the street), trails and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was also wonderful to just sit on the deck and enjoy the birds chirping and the view of the pasture with horses and sometimes deer. Christine was easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay when visiting the area.

Beautiful cottage, close to everything!!
This cottage is beautiful and it was amazing watching the horses. This is right across the street from brewing tree and so close to all the other wineries/breweries! Loved that it was dog friendly as well. 10/10 recommend!!

It was a perfect stay--the house was lovely, clean, and comfortable with a beautiful view, and the location was a close/very manageable drive to Charlottesville and Shenandoah National Park. We had a lovely time!

A cozy cottage getaway!
The cottage is super cute, cozy, and comfortable! The cottage had everything we needed, and was close to wineries, brewery, distillery, Shenandoah National Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The bed was a comfortable memory foam mattress, and the whole place was clean! Would definitely recommend!!

Modern farmhouse
This modern farmhouse is a gem! In my opinion, it is located in the heart of all you could ask for in this region. Wineries, breweries, local restaurants and hiking trails are all within minutes drive or walk. We were greeted every morning with a beautiful view of the adjacent pasture ponies. The very clean and modern design was calming and inspiring during our time of decompression. The hosts were excellent and timely with any communication. We will be back!

Was an absolutely great stay, accommodations were clean and wonderful. Very close to food and shopping. Close to road but yet country feeling. We saw horses, deer and other wildlife right from the back deck. We took our convertible corvette to cruise the Blue Ridge and skyline parkways. Would definitely go back!!!!

Girls trip was great!
The location was IDEAL for visiting wineries and breweries! In fact, there is a great brewery directly across the street! Waking up to the sound of traffic early in the morning was quickly forgotten thanks to the appearance of horses in the pasture behind the house. Our group had a lovely, relaxing long weekend and would recommend this property.

Spotless, charming condo
The host was lovey and the property was in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. It was well appointed. The yard is not as big as it looks in the photos, so did not accommodate our dogs exactly as we had hoped. The cabin is also very close to a busy road. But we had a great stay!

Perfect weekend
Fantastic property. We stayed over a long weekend to take our daughter tubing at Wintergreen. The location was perfect for getting out to Wintergreen and back with ease. Convenient access to several wineries and breweries as well. We were also close enough to make it to the Crozet tunnel, which was a perfect winter day hike. We will definitely be back! Christine checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed and her husband even came by with his tractor to make sure we were able to navigate the driveway after the snow.

Great location and gorgeous cottage!
My husband, our dog, and I stayed for a gorgeous fall week! The house is situated perfectly between Nellysford and Crozet with easy access to 64 when needed. We took a trip in to Charlottesville, Wintergreen, Crozet and Nellysford. We enjoyed the breweries and restaurants! The dog was welcome at any outdoor spots and there was ample space to run around the backyard as well as miles of trails to walk. Beautifully appointed cottage with super comfortable beds and an awesome view from the deck! Thanks for such a great stay!

Fantastic Location and Beautiful Cabin
My husband and I stayed in this beautiful cabin, along with another couple and our dog Brody. The location was fantastic. Wineries, breweries, restaurants all within 15 minutes, including 1 brewery across the street. The cabin was clean and just as described. We will be back!
