"This is a beautiful property. I was graciously upgraded to a suite when I arrived which was a nice surprise. However, I was sharing the room with my sister and I had asked for 2 beds and only got a double. I had them make up the sofa in the living room which was comfortable. However, I was unable to sleep due to an A/C noise that awoke me. I reported it to the desk the next morning and they were very proactive about getting it fixed. After showing them the video I took and they heard how loud it was I thought they would have compensated me somehow but they did not. They actually expected me to call the desk in the middle of the night???? Also, it was also very nice of them to leave a bottle of wine in the room but why not have it there when you check in instead of in the evening while you were away knowing you were leaving early the next morning. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful property. I didn’t have the breakfast as I had to leave very early but did eat in the all day restaurant and I would not recommend eating there. There are better places downtown a bit."

"I think the President Hotel is an ideal choice for a short stay for anyone visiting Athens for the first time and wanting to immerse themselves in the city. The hotel is conveniently located, with the nearest Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop roughly 10–20 minutes away, while the metro station is also within easy reach, making it relatively straightforward to get to many of Athens’ major attractions and historic sites. The hotel itself offers plenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable, but what really stood out to me was the quality of the staff. Everyone, from the front-of-house team and porters to the restaurant staff and cleaners, was extremely polite, professional, and efficient. There is a clear sense that the hotel is very well managed, with the staff working together to create a welcoming and well-organised environment. Overall, the President Hotel provides a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore Athens, particularly for first-time visitors. Credit should certainly go to the management, as the professionalism and attentiveness of the entire team are a real reflection of how well the hotel is run."
