"Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! The breakfast buffet every day was great, our room had great facilities such as a balcony, huge shower/ room and great added extras. It was thoroughly cleaned everyday and the staff were all lovely and very helpful. We had parking everyday for our rented car and the hotel couldn’t be in a more convenient spot. Only a 15 minute drive to chania town centre, and not even a 2 minute walk to the beach. Honestly would come back again in a heartbeat."

"We visited Balito with a family of 7 and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is small but updated and it is run by a wonderful family who makes you feel at home. The pool area is lovely and the breakfast and coffee is perfect in the morning. The rooms were good for our large family (we had two rooms with 3 beds each) and the area is very walkable. It’s about a 14 min walk to the beach (with my slower children) and a 10 min taxi into Chania. There is also a bus to take you to town and some of the other beaches that stops nearby but we didn’t do it because of elders in our group. There is a taverna around the corner that was amazing. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and will be back again if we return to Crete. "

"Our room at the Elizabeth Suites had a wonderful panoramic view over the sea a short distance away. That made the balcony a constant draw to watch the ever changing ocean. The property is clean and 5 minutes from a good sandy beach with, when we went in September 25, very warm sea! Epas is a great host and gave us lots of tips; clearly he wants each guest to enjoy themselves to the full. We ordered the breakfast which is freshly prepared by Stella who also shared excellent hints and tips with us. We chose not to drive into the centre of Chania Town but opted to take the bus (number 21) - the bus stop is very close to the property and this was a great alternative. We would very much like to return to the Elizabeth Suites. "

"Christos was very friendly and accommodating for us throughout our stay. He called taxis for us, gave us recommendations for places to eat in Old Town and gave us extra towels. The main chef cooked well and we loved the free breakfast. He was attentive whenever any of the food or drinks were low. Pool and beach access were the best part. Pool is right there and had many shaded spots. Walking to the beach takes less than 2 minutes. Whether you’re walking to a restaurant on the beach or on the street, it is quick and safe. Be sure to check out Sophia’s art shop. We loved the original art pieces there! "
