"Everything was great apart from being woken one morning at 6am by the laundry being thrown into the hallway outside my bedroom door.
I didn’t see anyone other than the man on reception. He was polite and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Good communication with hotel for organising parking and a later checkout on our last day. Parking at the hotel was close by. Check in was smooth and all staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Lovely large room with balcony and sea view. Our room was clean and tidy with a large comfy bed, air con, fridge, hairdryer, towels, robes, slippers and toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price and very good. Close to shops, restaurants and beach. Overall, we really...

"This was a quaint comfy stay! The owner has put a lot of love and attention into the property, and it was really cool to see what it was before she did all the work. She did a great job fixing it up! The breakfast is delicious and very generous!
The only minor thing was there wasn’t any WiFi. It is a somewhat remote location so that’s understandable. Overall a great stay and if you’re looking for an authentic Greek experience this is it! "

"Room big and clean with small but functional kitchen. The cheaper rooms don't have double beds, just twin beds. We were on the 2nd floor on a Friday night and it wass incredibly noisy until 2 AM. Wifi didn't work at first but was cured when the receptionist re-started it."

"Very helpful staff especially at reception, they went out of their way for us.
Room was reasonably clean, but it is an old hotel.
The food in the restaurant was really good with lots of choices and always topped up, the staff were amazing.
The gym definitely needs updating and is actually a healthy and safety problem.
The beach is not good for swimming unless you walk a few hundred meters down the road."
"Stella Blue
We have been searching as a couple for a resort that we can come back to year after year; we have decided that Stella Blue is the one. We don’t say that lightly- we travel a lot and do have high expectations.
We came to Stella Blue straight from the Mitsis Rinela, which is a 5*, and were slightly worried that we’d feel we downgraded. We needn’t have worried- it surpassed the Mitsis in every regard other than number of a la carte restaurants.
Check in:
Check in was 5* quality- the reception team should be applauded- from those at the desk to those rushing out upon arrival to take our bags and the man driving us to our room. It was seamless and better than reception at most 5*s we have stayed in. The reception and concierge team are incredible! Everyone was exceptionally welcoming and seemed excited to have you there- we don’t often feel that. It honestly was the best welcome we’ve ever had- thank you!
We also really liked the welcome drink- I believe it was non- alcoholic, and honestly that was the only thing I would change (add alcohol!), but we still loved it.

"This is such a brilliant hotel for young families. It’s a really beautiful place with some lovely restaurants, bars & some cute additions like the gelateria & the little on-site kafenio. The staff are brilliant with kids and they’ve thought of everything you need. Malia isn’t the prettiest area, but parts of the Old Town are charming with some lovely, great value restaurants. My only criticism of this hotel how expensive the restaurant are. We chose not to go half board or all-included but I wish we had – I think it would’ve been much better value overall!"
"Should have automatic access to sauna and spa given it’s a spa hotel only access is if you have a treatment for 30 mins and if over they charge you on top of having already paid for a premium treatment "
"Clean room and nice quiet room, all staff excellent and inviting, sea was warm, pools could have been warmer. The views from the property were very calming. "
"King Minos is a beautiful resort. We have just returned from our 2nd visit in 12 months and it is our favourite place to spend our holidays. The resort is stunning and the perfect place to have a relaxing holiday but close enough to the town to explore if you feel the need to.
However, for us the staff at King Minos are what makes it exceptional. Nothing is ever too much, they make you feel so welcome and have always taken such good care of us, going above and beyond what would ever be expected of them. They are what makes this resort 5 stars and makes us want to keep going back. "
