"I would give this hotel 100 stars if I could. Firstly the view over Mirabello bay is breathtaking. The staff are extremely helpful and try their best to accommodate your needs. The food is excellent with a wide variety of Greek and international dishes. There are two free beaches within walking distance, one pebbly and one sandy and three excellent tavernas again within walking distance. The bar staff are efficient and polite. Specialist mention must go to the lovely head barman sweet manalito...

"The property was amazing! Highly recommend the suites with private pools. Everything was very clean and the staff were so kind and helpful. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our day and the food and drinks at the restaurant were also very good. We also enjoyed easy access to the beach. We also appreciated that the hotel helped us arrange transport from the airport. It was a bit of a drive but the property was worth it. We loved staying at The River!"

"Everything was perfect☀️ Check in was easy. On the first morning, the housekeeping brought us fresh cut fruit and cake🙏 There was also a washingmachine and an iron, that we didn’t know about - so nice👍 The only thing missing is an enhancing mirror in the bathroom. There is a beach just 7 minutes by foot down the road and the staff and food at the restaurant Achinos by the beach are so great. Do take the boat to Spinalonga - that’s a nice experience☀️"

"Tolle Lage am Hang mit Blick aufs Meer und die Berge. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die zubuchbare Poolheizung funktioniert, ist aber mit 60 Euro pro Tag kein Schnäppchen. Vermutlich waren wir die ersten Gäste nach der Winterpause, wir hätten uns über ein frisch gereinigtes Haus gefreut. Allerdings war eine Zwischenreinigung jederzeit auf Abruf erhältlich. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. "
