Situated on the slopes of a mountain in southern Crete, Galini Luxury Homes blend modern comfort with the beauty of the natural landscape, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Libyan Sea and the surrounding mountains. The two semi-detached, stone-built villas are set in a tranquil location, just a short drive from pristine beaches with crystal-clear blue waters.


Galini Luxury Home 2 spans 115 sq. m. across two levels and comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests, or up to 6 if needed. Combining traditional architecture, a serene atmosphere, and contemporary amenities, the villa is ideal for families with children or groups of friends seeking relaxing and memorable holidays.

Sehr schöne Fetienhausdoppelhaushälfte in den Bergen! Wir haben die Ruhe und den Sonnenuntergang geliebt!Der Pool war im Oktober schon zu kalt, daher haben wir ihn leider nicht genutzt. Die Sonne schien selten drauf.An das teilweise kalte Duschen muss man sich gewöhnen.Der Hausverwalter ist total nett, hat uns als Willkommensgruß einige Lebensmittel eingekauft!Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Sehr schöne Villa

Einfach perfekt, wenn man eine Auszeit und absolute Ruhe braucht. Man benötigt auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Die Lage ist fantastisch und die Strände sind Traumhaft schön. Vielen Dank auch an das Team von Etouri und besonders an unsere Köchin Eleni, sie hat mein Geburtstag mit dem tollen Frühstück perfekt gemacht. Wir kommen wieder.

Secluded retreat

We had a wonderful time staying in this comfortable house with a spectacular view. The home was spotless and well equipped. This house is a distance from stores or restaurants so we were very appreciative that the host provided us with some basic groceries. The only problem area with this property is the showers. The downstairs one was unusable. There was no shower curtain and it flooded the bathroom if used. The other shower had a leak. It was clear they had attempted to fix it but it was still leaking. Having supplies on hand to deal with it would have been helpful. Despite the shower issues I highly recommend this property.

Schöner Urlaub in den Bergen von Kreta

Bei der Unterkunft handelt es sich um eine relativ neue Doppelhaushälfte an einer wenig befahrenen Straße. Die Lage ist etwas abseits, aber traumhaft schön. Sensationeller Blick aufs Meer und die Berge. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden bereits die wichtigsten Dinge für die ersten Tage eingekauft und gratis zur Verfügung gestellt. In dieser Weise habe ich das noch in keiner Ferienunterkunft erlebt. Vielen Dank an Nontas! Der Service von Etouri ist auch hervorzuheben. Anfragen werden schnell und freundlich beantwortet. Die Rückzahlung der Kaution erfolgte schnell. Den in anderen Rezensionen erwähnten Pool haben wir nicht genutzt. Ungeheizt war das Wasser Anfang April dann doch noch zu kalt. Der nächste Ort heißt Agia Galini und ist etwa 20 Minuten entfernt. Dort gibt es kleine Supermärkte und Restaurants.

Villa très pratique pour découvrir la région de Rethymnon et les belles plages du Sud

La villa est conforme à sa description et la prise de contact, comme la procédure d'arrivée, sont très faciles. Très belle vue également avec un accès à toutes les merveilles de la Région de Rethymnon et notamment les plages et gorges du Sud de la Région, mais aussi le site antique de Phaestos. Seul bémol: villa très venteuse ce qui refroidit un peu la piscine.

Erholung pur!

Das Haus liegt etwas abseits, dafür aber sehr ruhig und mit tollem Blick aufs Meer. Bis Agia Galini fährt man 20 Minuten und dort bekommt man alles, was man braucht und die Restaurants sind hervorragend! Ausflüge kann man einige im Radius von 1-2 Stunden Fahrzeit machen. Weitere Strecken wollten wir nicht fahren. Erholung, tolles Essen, nette Menschen, klares Meer, schöner Pool, toller Service von etouri, kurz: großartiger Urlaub!

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus in wundervoller Lage

Das Haus hat einen fantastischen Ausblick auf Meer und Berge. Den Strand kann man mit dem Auto gut erreichen, nur das Einkaufen ist aufgrund der abgeschiedenen Lage etwas aufwendig. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist geschmackvoll und sehr gepflegt. Die Küche ist groß, die Küchenausstattung (Pfanne, Geschirr) aber zum Kochen auf Dauer etwas minimalistisch.

Superbe Villa, magnifique vue et hôtes attentionnés!

Nous avons eu une très belle semaine avec nos 5 enfants. Le propriétaire nous a accommodé avec un lit supplémentaire pour notre ado. Très apprécié. Belle piscine et terrasse. Maison propre, fonctionnelle et confortable. À 10 minutes de voiture des plus belles plages de la Crète, à l'abri du tourisme de masse. Nous avons eu de très belles attentions de la part de tous, le propriétaire, Kostas et son équipe! Merci pour ce séjour mémorable. Nous serions rester au moins une semaine supplémentaire!

Kostas was extremely helpful preparing the stay. We were welcomed with a great cake and a bottle of wine. The apartments are constructed well with stylish interior and have everything you need for a great stay. Warmly recommended.

Beautiful location, wonderful home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Galini and would return any time our travels take us back to Crete. The house is very much as shown on the pictures. Beautiful all new construction and very comfortably and stylishly furnished. There is ample space for a family of 4 (we have 2 teenagers) but the house is laid out to accommodate 6 if you're OK with 2 sleeping on the living room sofas which are large and comfortable enough for that purpose. Equipment leaves nothing to be desired for either. You will have a fully equipped kitchen so can do reasonable cooking for a 4-6 people family, a washing machine and air-conditioning if needed (we used it sparingly at night when the wind was too strong to leave the windows open). On the terrace there also is a gas BBQ. Furnishings on the terrace allow you to either lounge at the beautiful pool or have an al-fresco meal - the table is a bit small for a full-blown outdoor dining experience but if you're happy with serving food inside and stepping outside to eat, it's wonderful and allows you to enjoy the stunning view over the hills/mountains down to the sea. The location is great if you prefer the quiet and don't mind driving 10-15 min to get to the beaches, dining or shopping. Southern Crete doesn't seem to be the most touristy part of the island, so if you like to step out of your accommodation and be right in the center of the hustle and bustle, this is not the place for you. If however you enjoy quiet, nature, beautiful uncrowded beaches with wonderful cristal clear water and small tavernas with great local food, this is a wonderful place to spend a vacation. The owner and the manager were extremely friendly and helpful with anything that we asked for. Service with the rental included a quick cleaning and change of towels, bathrobes and linens every 3 days as well as pool cleaning. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

The villa was lovely but remote.

The villa was new and well equipped with a good supply of basic household items. However a car and Satnav is essential as the nearest town is a 20 minute drive. The owner was extremely helpful and arranged for groceries to be there on arrival and even brought a cake and bottle of wine for us. There was only two sun loungers (good quality) which was disappointing for a villa for four. We would recommend the villa if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
