The room and linen was clean; however the bath area needed more cleanliness; the taps were slimy, the toiletries were cheap cheap quality, they used floor towels from The Trident!!! would not like to stay there again.

The smell from the bathroom makes it hard to sleep at night. Was given dirt stained towels everyday. Was given different prices by hotel staff for everything. Room is decent size and clean. Bed was comfortable . Was given expired water and soda at this hotel all the time . Please check the dates.

Not as expected

Pictures of hotel online are very much different than the reality. Hotel is not as clean as it shows in pictures. Hotel staff was okay but over all management was careless about their guests comfort and convenience. This hotel is walking distance from Taj Mahal but the walk is terrible. Street vendors and Taxi drivers keeps on bugging while you walk on the street.

The Taj Mahal is visible from the dining area, but it will soon be obstructed since there is another complex that is being built between the two. We were disappointed with the hotel since the faucets in the bathroom were leaking and there was a problem with getting hot water for showers. The rooms were small and there was improper ventilation. The surrounding area outside the hotel was not well kept and unclean. There were flies in the breakfast area. The hotel staff offered us a cold drink when we arrived and they were attentive to our needs.

Good location but expensive

Stayed on 13 Marc 2016, Location of the hotel was good staff helpful. But don't eat in the hotel its too expensive their are lots of near by restaurants- dominos , pizza hut etc. they charge you very high. A very simple veg sandwich of Rs 40 cost you more then Rs 250 and many more. I ordered cake for my anniversary they charged me for a Germen baked cake but served a third class cream cake of a very low standard , we even don't take a bite from that. Rooms are good and clean but I don't like the spring bed it was not at all comfortable you can feel the springs and cant sleep on that.

Rude staff trying to scam foreigners, Dirty room

We arrived at Taj Inn after we booked a double room with them asking us to pay them an extra 800 rupees for two people in the room (even though I booked a double room) and it definitely wasn't an official payment because I was able to bargain for it and paid 500 rupees which I watch him out in his pocket. We booked a room with included breakfast but when we finished eatin we were forced to pay 600 rupees each which once again wasn't an offical payment because we bargained it to 200 rupees each. This whole hotel will try and scam you non stop. Bed sheets also dirty and stained

Comfortable stay near Taj Mahal

Positives of stay: - Cooperative people. - Rooms were good and comfortable. - Even helped in lifting wheelchair for 4-5 steps at entrance. - Taj Mahal is just few kilometres from Hotel Negatives of stay: - Should have a ramp at the entrance for wheal chair users - Restaurant is at top floor, which is nice; but lift doesn't go till top floor; so wheal chaired person cannot go there, that should be improved. - Little bit of confused staff, even getting a tea took more than an hour.

I was staying at hotel Taj inn with my family for one night. The check in was smooth and our luggage reached to our room no time. Awsome food .very helpful and Friendly staff . Great spacious rooms . The overall stay was amazing.would recommende this property to all kind of travellers. Will definately come back again!!

The best advantage of this property is its location - you will find a lot of things in walking distance, even the Taj Mahal is also very close by. Rooms are reasonably cheap and the hotel staffs were courteous enough; they tried their best to serve us to their fullest capacity in order to fulfill our needs. But there are few things that must to be improved - cleanliness of the rooms, and the bathrooms. The towels were dirty; bed covers and bed sheets were not properly clean. There was water leakage in the bathrooms which eventually soiled the entire floor.

it is a very quite and descent play to stay. variety of food with good service. if u go there u must visit the top most view for the restaurant. its almost a walking distance from tajmahal and many other monuments.

Don't stay at this hotel! It was cold, there was mold in the room. There were no windows in the room. The Internet didn't work. It was very loud at night. Worst hotel.
